A three bedroom, two bath cottage located on the Northwestern Shore of Beaver Island ( The Sunset Side ) with views of High Island and Garden Island in the distance. The cottage features an outdoor deck overlooking the lake and a nice side yard. Up to eight people can sleep in this cottage if you include the sleeper sofa on the upstairs landing. The Master Suite has an attached bathroom with shower. Full laundry facilities are also included. The kitchen features a modern stove and oven, Microwave and Dishwasher and Refrigerator. 
A separate chest freezer is located in the basement area below the family room. Dishes, Glasses, flatware, pots & pans and cooking utensils are included. A propane gas Bar-B-Que grill is included. Propane Gas is available at several locations in and around St. James. A wood burning stove is installed on the interior wall of the Family Room. This large room features a vaulted ceiling and 180 degrees of window views of the Lake. A small fire in the stove will warm the entire cottage on chilly evenings. Electric baseboard heating is also available. 
A Television and DVD Player are available for use. The dining area features a large table capable of seating 10 people comfortably. Two upstairs bedrooms and a small reading/game area with a hide-a-bed couch are on the second floor. 
The second floor hallway overlooks the family room. Ceiling fans are included in all bedrooms. Located in St. James Township, the entrance to the Cottage Driveway from Island Woods Road is marked with a sign that says "The Cranes". From The Beaver Island Boat dock, take Donegal Bay Road west for three miles, turn right on Gull Island Road ( just as the Lake comes into view ) Turn Right again on Trout Island Court and then left on Island Woods Rd. The Cranes is located 100 yards from the intersection on the left hand side of the road. $1200 / week July-August. Contact: Byron Crane
