From 4 to 8:00 p.m. at the Beaver Island Boat Dock. In case of inclement weather, the party will be held inside on the freight deck of the Emerald Isle. Great food at the pig roast, side dishes and dessert. Beer and soft drinks will also be provided. Everyone is welcome. There will be a free will donation taken and any proceeds over cost will be used by the Chamber for marketing Beaver Island.

OHLSSON AT THE PIANO
The Association’s newly acquired Mason & Hamlin Concert Grand Piano makes its Beaver Island debut on July 15 when one of the great pianist of our time, Garrick Ohlsson, travels to Beaver Island to perform. Tickets are specially priced at $50 each. A limited number of stage seats are available @ $100 per seat. Included in the ticket price are complimentary wines and hors d’oeuvres, which will be offered prior to the performance. Doors open at 7:00PM, performance at 8:00pm. The Beaver Island Half Marathon plus 10K and 5K. Start at 9:00AM for 1/2 Marathon, 9:30AM for 10K and 10:00AM for 5K. Packet pick up and day before registration will take place on the porch at Dalwhinnie from 5 – 6:30. You can also register for the race at the start which is at the public beach at 8:00 on Saturday September 3.
