Kasson Contracting Inc. has been in business for over 23 years. It is owned by Tim Newman who lives in Leelanau County along with his family on their centennial farm which has been raising cattle, mainly Black Angus beef, since 1862. Being raised on a farm, we understand that work ethic and frugality are needed to sustain economic times. We enjoy working with historic structures and salvaging suitable buildings for reuse.
Kasson Contracting Inc. has established a business on the island to assist local contractors with structure moving such as, repairing foundations, installing basements under existing homes, or moving the building entirely off the site to save demolition costs and allow others to reuse the building. Our business on the mainland has experience in excavating, building, and general contracting. We also maintain properties and homes that we have built in the past. With our experience we feel we can serve you well.
