BEAVER ISLAND MAD CAMP
MAD Camp returns July 18-22 in 2016 – theme Exploring Sherwood Forest
(Music, Art, Drama) Camp, held on Beaver Island each July for children ages 7 through 17, is a program of Experience the Arts, Inc., a Michigan non-profit organization. The MAD Camp mission is to engage kid’s hearts, minds, and imaginations through the arts; to try out and try on a variety of experiences; and to build a sense of community among campers, families, and friends. The goal of our day camp is to provide a unique, exciting, fun-filled and growing experience for every camper who attends. We help children discover their various talents and skills, and provide challenges that allow campers to experience the joy of success. Camp is held at the Beaver Island School from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and ends with a Friday night program at 7:00 p.m. that showcases what the campers have accomplished during the week.
